I thought I would periodically let others know what I am up to in terms of my work. As I progress, I will try to narrate some of my experiences and observations at this Work Blog. Please feel free to comment on any entry.
Over the last several months and on into the future I am basically focused on the following: -Continuing my project management software instruction work, mainly held in downtown Irvine, California. -Working on a long-term project to convert all of the content from Growth Online from HTML format to Microsoft Word format so it can be more readily used in new systems, web-sites, etc. in future (link). This includes conversion of ~400 key articles and essays, several hundred documents of thoughts (totaling over 10.000 individual entries), and other content. This is a multi-year, on-going project that has a somewhat secondary priority compared to other income generating activities, unless new practical developments precipitate an urge to speed up the process. -Continue to develop my Life Response in Work 7-day training and workshop. (link) This has high short term priority. Aside from the content of the workshop itself I am working on creating two short videos of 5 and 10-15 minutes to help market the service, as well as completing a 1-hour seminar that introduces the service. I hope to invite Facebook and other friends and associates to the seminar sometime in early winter. OTHER: -Upgrade individual chapters of my book 'An Analysis of Sri Aurobindo's The Life Divine' (link) as new chapter explanations are given every month or two by Garry Jacobs at Karmayogi.net (and now also available at YouTube). (link) This is an on-going project that has gone on for over five years, and will continue to draw my attention periodically. -Restrain myself from writing any short thoughts and essays in Facebook and elsewhere (for the first time in many years) so I can concentrate on important projects. But doesn't this blog contradict that? (smile) Not very much I am glad to say! -Continue the effort at Personal Growth (and more recently) Transformation based on Karmayogi's guidance. Warm Regards, Roy
